Intrenchment Creek Park Access Available at Gresham Park Recreation Center
DECATUR, Ga. – The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has been informed the Intrenchment Creek trailhead located at 3251 West Side Pl., Atlanta, is no longer available to the public.
The public can access the PATH trail system via the Michelle Obama Trail at Gresham Park Recreation Center, located at 3112 Gresham Road, Atlanta.
DeKalb County has developed a master plan for Intrenchment Creek Park, which includes a trailhead along Bouldercrest Road. Proposed amenities include a playground for all abilities, a pavilion, restrooms, a water feature and parking. The park would also provide access to the Michelle Obama Trail and other points of interest within the county’s trail and greenway system.
