Share Your Comments – DeKalb 2050 Unified Plan

Recently, DeKalb County—in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC)— saw an opportunity to better coordinate and align its Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) with its Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLP) and other quality of life priorities to create a more holistic view and coordinated plan for the County’s future: the result is the DeKalb 2050 Unified Plan.

After nearly 18 months of technical analysis and community engagement, we are excited to share the draft of the Unified Plan for public review and input. Three documents are included within the Unified Plan:

  • Unified Plan Executive Summary
  • Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP)
  • Comprehensive Land Use Plan

The CTP and CLP are standalone documents with the Unified Plan Executive Summary providing highlights of each and overarching recommendations. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan has been under review by the public since July 2022, so the current version is a redlined document showing recent modifications. The CTP and Executive Summary are newly released.

All three documents can be found on the plan website: https://www.dekalb2050unifiedplan.com/.  All three documents can be found on the plan website: https://www.dekalb2050unifiedplan.com/. Please feel free to provide your comments and feedback from the website as well – the team is requesting comments be submitted by Monday November 7, 2022.

Sincerely,

The DeKalb Unified Plan Team
