DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office to Host “Better Together: Community Resource Fair”
The event will provide residents of DeKalb with resources to tackle various concerns faced daily.
DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office is hosting the “Better Together: Community Resource Fair” on November 5, 2022.
The purpose of the event is to educate and empower the community. As a law enforcement agency dedicated to building a better, safer DeKalb County through education and prevention, we seek to engage as many residents as possible and provide resources that will empower the residents of DeKalb County. There will be giveaways including frozen turkeys and free food will be offered on-site.
“Our goal with this event is to serve as a one-stop-shop for resources offered by my office and our many partners. There is no reason residents in DeKalb County shouldn’t have access to the resources they need” said DeKalb County Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling. “We understand that empowering the community with resources is a form of crime prevention and prevention is just as important as the prosecution aspect of what we do.”
The “Better Together: Community Resource Fair” event will take place on November 5, 2022, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. The event will be held at Peace Baptist Church located at 4000 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30032.
