DeKalb Announces Veterans Day Sanitation Schedule
No change to collection service
DECATUR, Ga. – In observance of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11, garbage, recyclable materials and yard trimmings collection for residential customers will be based on a normal collection schedule as follows:
Monday, Nov. 7 – Normal collection service.
Tuesday, Nov. 8 – Normal collection service.
Wednesday, Nov. 9 – Normal collection service.
Thursday, Nov. 10 – Normal collection service.
Friday, Nov. 11 – Veterans Day observed.
The North Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. The Central Transfer Station, Seminole Road Landfill, Customer Care call center and administration building will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, reopening on Monday, Nov. 14, during normal operating hours.
