DECATUR, Ga.—DeKalb County has submitted its 2023 annual recertification under the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Flood Insurance Program/Community Rating System Program.

The recertification includes, among other things, the annual progress report on the county’s Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan.

This plan is now available on the Roads and Drainage Floodplain Management webpage at www.dekalbcountyga.gov/roads-drainage/floodplain-management and members of the public can also request a copy of the report by emailing [email protected].

This submission is a demonstration that the county continues to implement the approved creditable activities under the Community Rating System program.
