NAACP DeKalb Issues Call for GOTV Volunteers
Decatur, GA. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) DeKalb Branch is conducting its Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign starting now through November 3, 2020 and is soliciting volunteers for the following:
RALLY – Party to the Poll
Saturday, October 24, 2020 – (Old Sam’s Club), 2994 Turner Hill Road, Stonecrest, GA 30038 at 1:00 pm
Saturday, October 24, 2020 – South DeKalb Mall, 2801 Candler rd, Decatur, GA 30034 at 12 noon – 7pm
RALLY/ CARAVAN – Souls to the Poll
Saturday, October 25, 2020 – Community Achievement Center, 4522 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, Ga 30034, 1:00 pm
RALLY/CARAVAN – Ready to Vote
Saturday, October 31, 2020 – Big Lots (parking lot) 2738 Candler Road, Decatur, GA 30034 at 10:00 am
PHONE BANKING (making calls) Sunday through Saturday, each day 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
CANVASSING (waving signs) – Candler Road & Rainbow Drive, Memorial Drive & I-285, Turner Hill Road at McDonalds’ Restaurant.
Dates/Times: Saturday, October 24th and 31st from 1:00pm – 2:30 pm; Sunday, October 18th and 25th from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
