DeKalb County School District is planning to offer full-time in-person learning to all students for the 2021-2022 school year; however, the district will offer virtual to middle and high school students.
FLEX Academy is DCSD’s virtual learning experience. Middle and high school students will be able to enroll in online core and elective classes that meet the school’s motto: “flexible learning with excellence.”
“It is important that the district continue to focus on student outcomes and plan for five days of full-time, in person learning for all students next year,” the district stated in a press release April 16. “DCSD is expanding FLEX Academy to offer virtual remote learning as an option for middle and high school students. The virtual option will be an extension of FLEX academy but connected to each home school.”
