DeKalb Cooperative Extension Announces
“Walking Past the Dead Tree Tour”

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Cooperative Extension will host “Walking Past the Dead Tree Tour.” The tour will take place at Decatur’s Historic Cemetery at 299 Bell St. Decatur, GA 30030 on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

Come learn about some of Decatur’s trees, tree types, and tree needs. A walking trail through the historic Cemetery with local arborists stationed at trees to give tree talks and stories. Donations will be accepted to the friends of the Cemetery and WASE (Women Arborists of the Southeast) but not required.
