Dear District 7 Constituents, Family, and Friends,
As your Commissioner I value keeping all of DeKalb informed on the strides being made in District 7. My service has no boundaries, as I see us all as one DeKalb. Many of you have reached out to our office, partnered on initiatives and have worked tirelessly to be an agent of change within our communities. For that I am grateful. As I am accountable to you and seek to set a new standard in public service, I encourage you to view an update of my first quarter initiatives and my Strategic Focus 2020 outline. We have amazing efforts on the horizon that will have a lasting effect on DeKalb including the development of the Bransby-Rock Chapel Youth Farm and the funding of the Discover DeKalb Convention Center by District 7. DeKalb is changing quickly and I am grateful to have a seat at the table as we have reached a critical phase in charting the path and future of DeKalb. I look forward to producing results and seeing our expectations of community and economic development materialize. I am committed to results.
