DeKalb County School District (DCSD) officials announced they will host a spring break meal distribution event April 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the International Center side of the Administrative and Instructional Complex at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Stone Mountain.
District officials said they will distribute 2,100 seven-day frozen meal boxes and fresh produce from Atlanta Food Bank to families attending the event.
All attendees must remain in their cars during the distribution, district officials said. A release states school nutrition service staff will place items in the trunks of attendees’ vehicles, and signage will direct attendees through the parking lot.
The event is open to all DCSD families, according to district officials.
