DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office hosts job fair Oct. 8
Now hiring customer service representatives for motor vehicle department; applications accepted online, in person during job fair
DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office is seeking qualified personnel to fill several Customer Service Representative positions in the Motor Vehicle department. Responsibilities include processing documentation and payments for various taxes and motor vehicle tags and registrations. Customer service and cash handling experience is a plus. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
“Our office remains committed to delivering the highest level of customer service as we adapt and safely operate under an ongoing pandemic,” said DeKalb County Tax Commissioner Irvin J. Johnson. “We are seeking highly motivated team members with a passion for service, and I encourage candidates to visit our job fair on October 8 to learn about the opportunities here at the tax office.”

Applications are also being accepted in person during the office’s job fair on Friday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., located at 4380 Memorial Drive in Decatur (Extension Service entrance). Candidates may bring their resume and completed application to the job fair. Background check for employment is required.
Security screening, masks and temperature checks are required for entry to the job fair.
