DECATUR, Ga.鈥擠eKalb County has submitted its 2023 annual recertification under the Federal Emergency Management Agency鈥檚 National Flood Insurance Program/Community Rating System Program.
The recertification includes, among other things, the annual progress report on the county鈥檚 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan.
This plan is now available on the Roads and Drainage Floodplain Management webpage at www.dekalbcountyga.gov/roads-drainage/floodplain-management and members of the public can also request a copy of the report by emailing floodplainmanagement@dekalbcountyga.gov.
This submission is a demonstration that the county continues to implement the approved creditable activities under the Community Rating System program.
