DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson attended the Giffords Courage to Fight Gun Violence Special Reception & Conversation on August 1st along with fellow officials from DeKalb and neighboring counties. Robyn Thomas, Executive Director of Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, spoke to attendees about the strides that have been taken to reduce gun violence in the United States and in Georgia specifically, and encouraged everyone to join the cause.
