DeKalb Clerk of Superior Court Property Fraud Registry Now Available
DECATUR, GA – DeKalb County Superior Court Clerk Debra DeBerry debuted an online Property Fraud Registry Alert System on Monday, February 24, 2014. The system is designed to provide property owners with the ability to register properties and receive notice anytime something is recorded on their property.
In order to receive alerts, property owners are strongly encouraged to register their properties at https://registry.myfivepoint.com/dekalb/fraudreg/. As senior citizens are targets of fraudulent recordings – we will continue to assist, via phone, if there is no electronic contact.
Clerk DeBerry states, “This registry is the product of the attention WSB-TV has given to this issue and I felt the need to respond accordingly.”
