Stonecrest Forward
The federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocated $1.9 trillion to COVID-19 relief and economic recovery. The City of Stonecrest has been allocated $9.7 million funded in two payments received during 2021 & 2022. The funds are required to be spent by the end of 2026.
The ARPA funds may be used in a variety of ways to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including:
– Responding to the public health emergency and/or its negative economic impacts
– Premium pay for workers performing essential work during the pandemic
– Providing government services impacted by the revenue loss due to COVID-19
– Investments in water, sewer, or broadband infrastructure
The survey below was created to ask our community members to engage in the process of determining the best way for the city to use these funds in support of our collective community.
